Vänerleden
If you want to cycle around Sweden’s and Europe’s largest lake, there is Vänerleden, a nationally quality-assured cycle route. Here, you can travel on country roads, cycle paths, and pilgrim routes where you can discover Vänern, the surrounding cities, enjoy good food, stay comfortably, and find new hidden gems. The trail is filled with beautiful views and cultural experiences.

Klarälvsbanan and Karlstad City
Hotel Gustaf Fröding is located just outside Karlstad city center and in this package, you get two nights with comfortable accommodation, dinner, and a full day with cycling. If you cycle south, you will reach Karlstad and out to Hammarö and the coast of Vänern; if you choose the route north, you will discover the beautiful Klarälvsbanan which stretches 90 km from Karlstad in the south to Hagfors in the north.

Start the tour in Karlstad and cycle west towards Borgvik, a place with a lot of culture, nature, history, and gastronomy. Here, you stay and eat at Kungskvarnen and there are several activities to choose from in the area if you want to do something more than just cycling.
