Svänghjulet (The turning wheel)

The wheel, placed between the bridge Bågen and the small bridge over Uvån in central Hagfors, was placed there as a monument by Hagfors Lions. The old ironwork was driven by water turbines and the wheel was used to get the rollers to work. It was used between the 1880s to 1957.
