Christmas market both indoors and outdoors
From the main entrance, the market street winds its way up into the park, into Holken and further up into Lillskogen and to the site at Sätervallen. The market stalls are filled with delicacies and high-quality Värmland crafts. Christmas decorations, handicrafts, elves, wreaths, delicacies and other things that belong to Christmas - really unique Christmas gifts can be found here.
Food & drink
At the market you can taste the exhibitors' delicacies such as freshly baked waffles, grilled hamburgers, homemade sweets, coffee and sausages with bread. You are also welcome to the Christmas café in Naturum Värmland. The Christmas table at Matstudion on Terrassen is best booked in advance.

Santa, the train and the animals are waiting for the children
There are lots of fun things to do for children. A free ride on the Conrad Höök round trip train is a different experience in winter. At the animals in Lillskogen, it's free to take part in the Guess the Goat's Weight competition. The treasure hunt starts in Naturum Värmland, where there is also a fish pond and bear lottery. There is also the opportunity to ride a horse and carriage or try pony riding. And just think, Father Christmas is coming!
Father Christmas is out at Sätervallen
Father Christmas is outdoors at Sätervallen. There you can see him preparing all the Christmas stuff and on some occasions during the weekend, the elves with their animals also come to visit. Leave your wish list directly to Santa or post it in Santa's letterbox at Sätervallen from the first of Advent.
Light a candle
As in previous years, you are welcome to come to Acksjön Chapel to unwind and light a candle for someone you are thinking of.
Gammelgården
Christmas at Gammelgården with Karlstads Hembygdsförening. Lotteries, sale of crafts and neighbourhood books. Hot dogs with bread, drinks and hot mulled wine.
Walk or take the bus here
There are limited parking spaces for cars in the car park. The tip is therefore to leave the car at home or park a bit away and walk or take Karlstadsbuss direct line 22 from Stora torget to the Christmas market. Regular prices and tickets apply.
Entrance
The entrance to the Christmas market is at the main entrance, other entrances to the park are closed. It is free for children and costs SEK 40 for those over 18. You can pay the entrance fee with cash, card or Swish.
