About the hiking trail:
Spraktjärnsleden starts 300 meters south of the tourist office by the old railroad bridge that now is a part of Klarälvsbanan. The hiking trail takes you through the forest and up on Blibergets top and after about 2,7 kilometers you will reach lake Sparktjärn. Around Spraktjärn there are several windshields and toilets. The trail continues towards lake Vågsjön were it connects to Vågsjörundan.
Please note! Fishing in Spraktjärn requires a fishing card.
Directions:
From the tourist office you walk south on Tallåsvägen. Just before the intersection on Bliavägen, Klarälvsbanan crosses Tallåsvägen and to your left you'll see a bridge. Approximately 100 meters after the bridge you will find the start of Spraktjärnsleden to your left.
Nature value: By going off the hiking trail you can reach two “key biotopes” on Lustigberget. There are no markings to reach it so you will need a map to find it. From the north point of Sparktjärn there are paths that will lead you up to the top of Lustigberget. The “key biotopes” consists of coniferous forest.
Some hiking tips:
- Bring a good map.
- Good/proper footwear! Depending on weather, season and terrain the ground can be wet.
- Covering clothes that can give good protection against ticks.
- Light packing that contains for example patches, mobile phone and fruit. And don’t forget the water!
- Think about the outdoor access rights. Make sure to know what you can and cannot do.
