Camp Grinsby is situated about 2 kilometres from the road E 18. Most of the sites have a view of the lake. The area of the camping ground is large and varied and has for instance places for grilling on a beautiful peninsula.
Hiking & Canoeing
There are hiking trails ranging from 2,5km to 12km distance. The surroundings have the character of wilderness, and here you can find many big and small watercourses with great opportunities for exciting canoe-trips.
The distance to Glaskogens Naturreservat is 15 kilometres. There are elks and beavers in the neighbourhood. Stora Bör is a lake with about 80 islands, and it has many creeks. Here the peaceful silence can be experienced on an own island.
More activities
There are very good opportunites for fishing and bathing. Miniature golf by the campsite and Årjängs golf course is near the campsite. Camp Grinsby has canoes, SUP and boats for hire. The surroundings offer great possibilities for shorter or longer trips. They also sell fishing licences.

From Årjäng you drive E18 towards Karlstad for about 23 kilometres, then you turn left by the sign CAMP GRINSBY. Follow the road 1 km.
