Christmas Market in Brunskog in Arvika, November 23-24

The Brunskog Local History Society, which organizes the summer heritage week Gammelvala, invites you to its traditional Christmas market with everything related to Christmas. The Christmas market in Brunskog takes place the weekend before the first Advent every year at the picturesque Brunskog local heritage site. The majority of the exhibitors are craftsmen, food artisans, and exhibitors with antiques/curiosities. The Local History Society sells, among other things, its popular mulled wine and juniper drink.

Experience a wonderful Christmas market at the beautiful Alsters Herrgård, the birthplace of one of Sweden’s greatest authors: Gustaf Fröding. The Christmas market at Alsters Herrgård is a traditional market featuring high-quality Värmland products. The market presents locally produced food, handicrafts, and other crafts, as well as events for both young and old, such as pony rides, blacksmithing try-outs, and wool crafting.

At the market, you can sample the exhibitors’ delights, such as freshly baked waffles, grilled hamburgers, homemade sweets, coffee, and sausages with bread. In an authentic industrial setting at Wiksfors Bruk, you can kickstart Christmas already on November 18! Here you’ll find beautiful items for sale and delicious treats to enjoy while you stroll around the area. Wiksfors Bruk is a gathering place for various businesses where you’re sure to get into the Christmas spirit.

Christmas Market at Rotnäs Gårdsbutik 23-24/11, 30/11-1/12, 7-8/12 and 14-15/12

At the annual Christmas market at Rotnäs Gårdbutik just outside Karlstad, you can visit the farm over four weekends to get into the holiday spirit. At the markets, you will be able to shop for home decor, clothing, and food, among other things.

Christmas Market in Filipstad, December 15

Don’t miss the Christmas market at Stora Torget in Filipstad, where you can shop for handicrafts, holiday decorations, and various treats. In the afternoon, there will be a range of activities on the Barilla Stage, featuring music, Christmas games, and Santa handing out candy bags to the children. Shops in Filipstad will also be open
