Day 1

Naturbyn

Stay among the treetops or on a raft on the water at the scenic Naturbyn. This is the place where you can disconnect and relax, an experience for both body and mind. Canoe, eat food cooked over an open fire, and feel the peace settle in.


Day 2

Klässbols Linneväveri

Approximately a 40-minute drive from Naturbyn.

At Klässbols Linneväveri, you will find Värmland’s textile craftsmanship of the highest quality. The family-owned company’s tablecloths adorn the tables at the Nobel Banquet every year and are found at Swedish embassies around the world.

Kaffekvarnen i Klässbol

A short walk from the linen weaving mill you will find Kaffekvarnen.

Next to the babbling brook lies Kaffekvarnen in Klässbol. Here you can enjoy a delicious and flavorful lunch in an old-fashioned setting, where the food is prepared with organic ingredients.

Alma Löv Museum

Approximately a one-hour and fifteen-minute drive from Kaffekvarnen in Klässbol.

At Alma Löv Museum of Unexp. Art, you will get an extraordinary art experience – in nature. A must on a nature and culture trip through Värmland.

Approximately a one-hour and twenty-minute drive from Alma Löv Museum.

Feel the wings of history in the middle of the Värmland forest when you stay at the beautiful Hennickehammar Manor, a family-owned manor from the 18th century. Here you can enjoy Värmland cuisine with locally produced ingredients.


Day 3

Horizontal mine tunnel

Tilas Stoll

Just a 20-minute drive from Hennickehammar Manor and a short walk from the parking lot.

Next to Lake Yngen in Högbergsfältet lies Tilas Stoll, a 25-meter long horizontal mine tunnel. Here you can see how nature has reclaimed the mountain after mining activities – one of Värmland’s most beautiful cultural historical sites.

About a 15-minute drive from Tilas Stoll.

Enjoy the view of Värmland’s beautiful landscapes while having a lunch inspired by the rich pantry of the forest. The restaurant Big Hill Lodge is located on the beautiful Storhöjden outside Filipstad.

Gamla Kraftstationen in Deje

About an hour’s drive from Big Hill Lodge.

Experiencing the exhibitions in a well-preserved industrial setting like at the Gamla Kraftstationen adds an extra dimension to the experience.

Dömle Manor

About a 10-minute drive from Gamla Kraftstationen in Deje.

Outside Forshaga lies the beautiful Dömle Manor, dating back to the 15th century. In addition to the cozy manor settings, you can enjoy good food and relax in one of the manor’s spa baths or saunas.

About a 40-minute drive from Dömle Manor.
