Värmland’s royal suppliers

In Värmland, there are several royal suppliers that offer that little extra. They provide you with the opportunity to set the table like at the Nobel banquet or enjoy coffee and crispbread with a royal good taste.

Klässbols Linen Weaving – A Genuine Swedish Craft

Klässbols Linen Weaving in Arvika was established in 1920 and is Scandinavia’s only damask linen weaving mill. Since the 1970s, they have been a royal court supplier and collaborate with nationally and internationally recognized designers, resulting in several design awards. The company provides tablecloths and napkins for the Nobel banquet and Swedish embassies around the world. Here, you can find both retail sales and a factory open to visitors. In the store, you can purchase towels, tablecloths, napkins, and curtains – including seconds.

Löfbergs

Barilla/Wasabröd

Löfbergs – Swedish Coffee Passion Since 1906

The family business Löfbergs has been producing great coffee since 1906. The passion for coffee culture and good coffee has been present since the start, along with a commitment to sustainability and justice issues. Today, Löfbergs is an international player whose coffee is served all over the world. They are also a royal court supplier. In Karlstad, you can visit Löfbergs Roastery & Coffee Bar located at the bottom of Löfbergs Coffee Scraper. Enjoy a good cup of coffee along with pastries baked on-site or take the opportunity to participate in a coffee tasting. There is also take-away and many varieties of coffee, tea, and accessories available for purchase.

Barilla/Wasabröd – The World’s Crunchiest Museum and Factory Store

Barilla/Wasabröd is a royal court supplier and began producing crispbread in Filipstad as early as 1931. Next to the factory, there is a store with factory sales of Wasabröd and Barilla’s products. Be sure to take part in the company’s history at the combined museum and store – here you can follow the journey from a small company to delivering products worldwide today. A tip is also to finish your visit with a coffee break in the coffee corner – perhaps with a delicious crispbread sandwich?
