Alpine Skiing in Branäs – Skiing for All Ages and Levels

Branäs offers everything from green to black slopes. As a result, you’ll encounter a delightful mix of people – small children and pensioners, beginners and advanced skiers – when you venture out into the ski area. Here, you can stay in everything from cozy cabins to spacious and modern apartments with an unbeatable location right by the slopes. Almost all accommodations have ski in/ski out, something that is unique in Ski Sweden. Choose from three areas: Branäs By, Branäs Berg, and Mattesdalen – all with its very own charm. In Branäs By, you’re close to the gondola that takes you quickly to the top in a comfortable way, while the popular Brants Restaurant is just a stone’s throw away. On the Mountain, you’ll find yourself right in the heart of the ski hub with all the most popular slopes around you. Mattesdalen is our fastest growing area and offers a slightly quieter stay, more secluded from the “center,” but still with the same proximity to top-class skiing. There is also a new 6-seat chairlift in the area that takes you directly to the top.

Ski Lodge in Branäs

Ski Lodge is located right by the slopes and offers modern and comfortable apartments with hotel-standard, including bed linens and cleaning. Right next to the apartments, you’ll find a bar and restaurants, and the slope is within skiing distance.

Mountain Lodge

The new state-of-the-art Mountain Lodge has a total of 63 apartments and 236 beds, located right next to Ladan on Branäs Mountain. Mountain Lodge is a comfortable accommodation with hotel-standard, featuring access to a large lounge, relaxation area, and conference rooms. The slopes are within skiing distance.

Branäs Mountain

In the cabins at Branäs Mountain, you’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the valley and be in close proximity to ski slopes, sledding hills, and cross-country skiing tracks. At the top of the mountain, there’s also ski rental and a restaurant, with all slopes within skiing distance. Right next to the facility, you can choose from a wide selection of cabins in various sizes. You can cook in your own kitchen or dine at one of the facility’s restaurants.
