The church of Norra Råda

Where the church is situated today was first a simple pilgrim chaple wich was used by pilgrims on their way to the grave of S:t Olav in Nidaros. In 1634 the first real church was built. The building of the church of today was begun in 1805. Among the inventories there is a wooden relief from the 16th cetury and a painting of Johan Roselius.
