kmBjörnåsrundan offers a challenging and scenic hike through the wild nature of Hovfjället. One of the highlights along the trail is Björnåsen, where you are rewarded with a fantastic view of the landscape. There is also a rest area here – perfect for taking a break while enjoying the scenery.
The trail follows the stream Giljan, which can overflow during snowmelt and rainy periods, making some sections difficult to pass. Avoid the trail if the ground is very wet. At Dammen, another beautiful rest area along the trail, you can enjoy the peaceful nature and listen to the sounds of the forest.

Current status: Open, but can be difficult to traverse in wet conditions. No winter maintenance.
