kmHultbergsleden starts at Mattila and initially follows the shore of Lake Multtjärn, where you hike in a peaceful and scenic setting. The trail then leads you up onto Hultberget, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The terrain varies between ancient forest, open highlands, and areas rich in cultural history. The final part of the trail passes the historic Finnish homestead Juhola, which tells the story of the Forest Finns and their traditional slash-and-burn agriculture.
