Lake Vänern offers good fishing opportunities from both boat and land. It has more than 30 species of freshwater fish, including pike, perch, pikeperch, salmon and burbot. Fishing is free with handheld tackle. With tour boats you can easily get to a number of islands suitable for fishing.
