Fishing areas near Björneborg
South of Kristinehamn, in the Björneborg area, several lakes are available for fishing with a valid permit. These lakes are part of Sveaskog’s system called Fiskekort Syd.
The fishing area includes: Grytsjön, Kroksjön, Sälsjön, Sävsjön and parts of lake Vismen.
Fishing permits
A fishing permit is required for all lakes. Permits are sold by Sveaskog, and these lakes belong to the Fiskekort Syd category.
🎫 Day permits, 3-day permits, annual permits, family permits and school group permits are available.
Youth under 20 years old fish for free.

You can fish for perch, pike and roach.

From Kristinehamn: Follow road RV 26 south towards Gullspång/Mariestad for about 7 km. Then turn left at the intersection with a sign for Björneborg.
From Gullspång: Follow road RV 26 north towards Kristinehamn. Turn right at the intersection with a sign for Björneborg.
